Job Summary:

The Salon Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience. In addition to managing appointments and client inquiries, this role involves overseeing the salon’s social media presence and assisting with content creation to promote services, engage with the community, and grow the salon’s online following.

Responsibilities:
Greet Clients:

Welcome clients with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.

Appointment Scheduling:

Manage the salon’s appointment calendar, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.

Customer Service:

Answer phone calls and in-person inquiries regarding services, pricing, and availability.

Administrative Support:

Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating client records, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed.

Client Communication:

Notify clients of appointment reminders and any updates, ensuring clear communication regarding service times and promotions.

Social Media Management:

Assist with managing the salon’s social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok etc.) by posting regular content, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.

Content Creation:

Collaborate with the team to create engaging content (photos, videos, stories) that showcases the salon’s services, promotions, and events.

Skills:

Previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Creative mindset with a keen eye for design aesthetics. Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of beauty or haircare services. Experience with content creation, photography, and/or social media marketing. Basic understanding of social media analytics and trends in the beauty industry. Previous experience managing professional social media accounts. Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Capcut etc).

Job Type:
Part-time Pay:

$15.00 – $18.00 per hour
