Job Description
Front Desk Associate 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 1821 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, FL 32068 Coastal Health is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Front Office Check-Out Representative to join our growing team! This individual will play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient service by greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records and accounts. Key Responsibilities:
Enhance patient satisfaction by efficiently scheduling appointments in person and over the phone Keep appointments running smoothly by notifying providers of arrivals and delays, and monitoring schedules Provide a welcoming and calming presence to patients, addressing their concerns and maintaining a clean reception area Ensure treatment information is readily available by accurately filing and retrieving patient records Maintain accurate patient accounts by recording and updating personal and financial information Support revenue cycle efforts by recording, collecting, and reconciling patient balances and managing patient credit as needed Manage office inventory and supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary Respond to patient emergencies or distress in a calm, effective manner Uphold patient confidentiality by securely handling personal and financial information Support office operations by adhering to internal policies and procedures and suggesting improvements Foster a collaborative environment by contributing to team success and helping wherever needed Greet all patients and visitors warmly—both in-person and over the phone—and respond to inquiries or direct them appropriately
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting (Required) Strong multitasking and time management skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and attention to detail Proficiency in scheduling, word processing, and general office tasks Team-oriented with a focus on quality and professionalism Join Coastal Health and become part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care and service in an environment where your contributions are valued.
