Full-Time Coastal Health is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Front Office Check-Out Representative to join our growing team. This role plays a vital part in delivering excellent patient experiences by providing administrative support, scheduling appointments, managing payments, and maintaining accurate patient records. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a team player, and is passionate about supporting patients and clinical staff.

What You’ll Do:

Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phone, answering inquiries or directing them appropriately Schedule appointments to maximize patient satisfaction, provider availability, and room efficiency Notify providers of patient arrivals and any service delays to keep appointments running smoothly Comfort patients by answering questions, managing anxieties, and maintaining a welcoming reception area Maintain and update patient records and financial information accurately and securely Collect and process patient payments, monitor account balances, and manage credit as necessary Support business operations by maintaining office inventory and ensuring supplies are stocked Respond promptly to emergency situations, assisting patients in distress Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are protected at all times Follow office policies and procedures and provide feedback for improvement when needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting Strong multitasking and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Proficient in scheduling, word processing, and general administrative tasks Flexible, organized, detail-oriented, and professional Team-oriented with a positive attitude Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
