Job Description
A well-regarded national law firm is seeking a Temporary Office Services / Office Coordinator to support its daily operations. This part-time position (approximately 25 hours per week ) is expected to last six months and is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and has a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Answer general incoming phone calls and transfer to the appropriate staff. Greet and grant access to visitors at the front door, which remains locked. Prepare shipping labels and manage packaging for FedEx, UPS, USPS certified mail, and other carriers. Open and close general and matter-specific legal files. Perform scanning, duplication, and document preparation. Assemble pleadings files, notebooks, and binders with accurate indexing. Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies, monitor fulfillment. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the employee lounge and public conference rooms. Coordinate with building management on maintenance needs. Support virtual meetings (Zoom, WebEx, video conferencing) in collaboration with Akerman IT. Process vendor invoices through Chrome River and manage petty cash. Make occasional bank deposits. Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office coordination or administrative support, ideally within a legal or professional services setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic tech platforms (Zoom, WebEx, etc.). Familiarity with Chrome River or similar expense/invoice management systems is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
Compensation:
$16 – $21/hr. depending on relevant experience.
