Blo Blow Dry Bar in Jacksonville, Florida is looking to add a Rockstar Receptionist (aka Bar Boss!) to our talented team! We are passionate about education and development and invest in our Receptionists through sales training, leadership coaching and product knowledge. We also offer a Management Training Program for our SuperStar Receptionists (Bar Boss) that have interest in the Management field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

: The Bar Boss is like the Captain of the Ship!

A typical day includes:

giving a cheerful personal greeting to all clients who walk in the door! Offering guests refreshments, communicating with Stylists/MUA’s regarding clients, checking out clients (must be proficient in basic math), answering phone calls, booking appointments, calling to confirm next day’s appointments, spreading your positive energy and can-do attitude throughout entire store, help prepare VIP Party Room for group events such as; bridal parties, birthday parties, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, etc., manager selfie station/photo booth, restocking retail products and supplies, assisting with off-site community events (bridal expos, braid/tinsel hair bars, etc.), creating an exceptional customer service experience for all of our Guests, maintain the cleanliness of our store for our guests to enjoy and feel comfortable. Support the team of hair stylists and makeup artists. Be professional and super friendly and know how to diffuse any tense situations. Grow the business with recommendations and suggestions that lead to product sales, service upgrades and membership sign-ups. Participate in regular training and skill-development opportunities. Work collaboratively and support your teammates. Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workspace.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

: A passion for the beauty industry and for making people feel their best ! Absolutely must have an outgoing, cheerful demeanor! Basic Math skills a must! Salon experience is an asset!
