This is a dual role that combines hands-on pet care with front desk customer service. If you enjoy working with dogs and love helping people, this could be the perfect fit!
Responsibilities Bathing & Grooming Assistance:
Bathe dogs using appropriate techniques and products Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, and teeth brushing Assist with deshedding, blow drying, and light brushing Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area Handle pets safely and compassionately at all times
Reception & Customer Service:
Greet customers and their pets warmly Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a professional manner Schedule and confirm grooming appointments Explain our grooming packages and membership options to clients Process payments and maintain accurate customer records Keep the front desk and lobby clean and organized Qualifications Must love dogs and be comfortable handling all breeds and sizes Strong communication and multitasking skills Friendly, reliable, and punctual Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Experience in a grooming, kennel, vet, or retail setting is a plus (but not required) Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee discounts on grooming and retail products Opportunities for advancement and ongoing training Fun and supportive team atmosphere Access to unlimited bathing membership for personal pets Schedule Flexible shifts available (weekend availability preferred) Part-time or full-time positions
