At Bay Area Injury Rehab Specialists we have been seeing auto injury patients for the last 25 years in both Hillsborough and Pasco county. We are seeking a front desk/ medical receptionist for our Tampa clinic. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented employee with great people skills. Experience preferred but no required.

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a busy medical office. This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a warm and courteous manner. Answer multi-line phone systems and route calls appropriately. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes. Prepare patient medical records to requesting offices. Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Prepare patient chart for upcoming doctor appointments. Send outgoing patient referrals to specialists. Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, data entry, and filing. Communicate effectively with clinical staff to support patient flow. Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
