The Front Desk Coordinator at Balance Salon AVEDA is a key role responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression for guests. This individual must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ensure a smooth experience from appointment booking to checkout. They will manage guest appointments, handle inquiries, and assist with administrative tasks while maintaining a polished, professional appearance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Engagement:
Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
Appointment Scheduling:
Manage and coordinate guest appointments using salon SalonBiz software, Canva, and all Social media platforms.
Client Management:
Maintain accurate guest records and update details as necessary.
Payment Processing:
Handle transactions and process payments efficiently.
Communication:
Answer phone calls, emails, and other forms of guest communication, including all social media platforms, in a professional and friendly manner.
Maintain Salon Environment:
Ensure the front desk area and salon are clean, organized, and always welcoming. Assist with
Salon Operations:
As needed, assist the team with various administrative tasks, including confirming appointments, processing guest information, and managing inventory.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles. Proficiency in salon or appointment scheduling, SalonBiz/Millennium software (experience with AVEDA or similar systems preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including Canva software, and Social media scheduling and posting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Polished, professional appearance and demeanor. Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a salon or spa environment is a plus. Knowledge of AVEDA products and services.
