Summary:
Position is responsible for attending front desk for the purpose of greeting employees, directing visitors and logging vendors; performs routine clerical duties and office support tasks as directed.
Responsibilities:
Greets, signs-in and directs all guests and vendors. Opens and closes front entrance at pre-determined times. Answers incoming telephone calls and forwards as appropriate. Records accurate and detailed messages. Accepts and/or directs couriers and small package delivery agents. Maintains detailed visitor & vendor log. Notifies employee contacts upon visitor & vendor arrival. Issues visitor name badges and collects upon departure. Issues access badges to vendors as directed. Ensures return of badges upon vendor departure. Maintains files and directories as specified. Performs clerical duties as requested such as scanning, copying and assembling documents. Creates service requests in Maximo for guest-reported facilities issues. Coordinates Facilities Central Reservations System. Assists Facilities Operations Coordinator with conference and break room supply inventory processes. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirement:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year related job experience Must possess working knowledge of computer and Microsoft office applications Requires strong verbal and written communication skills Projects a pleasant and positive attitude when greeting guests and answering phones
Working Conditions:
Office work environment equipped with required tools to perform job functions. Job may require working overtime, evenings and weekends to accommodate after-hours event schedules.
