We are currently looking to hire a qualified front desk receptionist that could join our work family.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have flexible availability that must include Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 AM – 5 PM and desire to work 20 hours (or more) per week with teamwork mentality! We are looking for outgoing, personable, customer service-oriented people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multitask! Candidates must also have a put-together, professional appearance, all are welcome to apply! We appreciate experience and education! Due to the time involved in training, we are unable to hire students that are in Tallahassee for less than 1 year from the application date. We additionally appreciate applicants with good phone manners when talking with out customers and/or visitors.

The Receptionist is the first and last point of contact and is fundamental to the daily operation and success of the business. They are responsible for smooth front office operations and a positive customer experience. They will also create a positive, productive team environment in which the highest level of customer satisfaction provided is essential. This position will report directly to the Office Administrator.

Service Orientation:

This position is customer focused with the objective of delivering superior customer assistance and ensuring positive patient experiences and outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides the highest level of customer service.
  • Creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Assists and supports other business staff as necessary.
  • Maintains clean, neat and organized work areas including front desk, waiting areas, and show rooms.
  • Completes all required facility opening and closing duties.
  • Greets patients with welcoming and positive attitude.
  • Drives daily revenue through assistance of retail sales, and appointment scheduling with both move(s) and tune(s).
  • Sells the move(s), tune(s) and retail over the phone and in person.
  • Manages multi-line phone system and assigned daily work flow.
  • Fully handles customer scheduling process.
  • Strives to achieve high level of customer retention and new customer scheduling.
  • Recognizes job type and categories by color on google calendar.
  • Memorizes and utilizes appointment durations and appointment types during the scheduling process.
  • Blocks appropriate resources/equipment during the scheduling process.
  • Conducts customer appointment reminder calls if needed.
  • Ensures all customer paperwork is complete, correctly input into Microsoft Access, and filed into the correct folder/record(s).
  • Sends/delivers necessary paperwork to correct departments.
  • Accurately enters payments, and notes on Podium and Microsoft Access (For Customers)
  • Knowledgeable about current promotional events.
  • Supports business in-house and off-site promotional events/events, as required.
  • Attends and participates in any training and educational seminars, as required.
  • Creates and addresses telephone encounters.
  • Prepares or assists with inventory, as directed.

Education and/or

Experience Requirements:
    Preferred:

    High School Diploma or Greater

      Minimum:

      At least one year customer service experience

      • Excellent computer skills; experience with
      Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel Physical Abilities:
      • Stand for extended periods of time; push, pull and reach; occasionally bend, sit, stoop and stretch.
      • Have full range of body motion
      • Have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity needed to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, printer, copier, and fax machine.
      • Have a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports; specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
      • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
      Other:

      – Assistance with online ordering may be needed occasionally.
