We are seeking a friendly and energetic, detail-oriented Bilingual Law Firm Receptionist to join our legal team. We are looking for that special candidate who comes to work with a smile, is excited to help people in need, has experience answering a multiline phone and is able to multi task in an organized manner. The ideal candidate will have significant phone experience, answering multi line switchboards and 20-30 calls per hour. The position entails providing support to attorneys by answering the phone and being the first point of contact for all clients, ensuring the efficient operation of our office. Key Responsibilities:
Answer heavy switchboard in a timely manner with ability to courteously place callers on hold while attending to another call Direct phone calls to correct team member or attorney in firm Courteous and respectful response to callers Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks Maintain a clean and organized reception area Provide clerical support to various departments as needed Handling the mail incoming and outgoing Supplies ordering and maintaining to make sure don’t run out Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems to close out files Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to relay information and schedule appointments. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines. Other administrative duties as assigned by attorneys or office management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or Bachelor degree preferred. Proven experience as a legal receptionist in a law firm.
MUST BE FULLY BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with heavy phones and switchboard in a legal setting
