Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Essential Functions:
Greet and welcome patients warmly upon arrival Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately Collect and process payments for services and products Answer phones professionally, direct calls, and handle inquiries Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals and manage patient flow Maintain office supplies and monitor equipment needs Learn and manage inventory of office and skincare products Verify patient health benefits with insurance providers Manage medical records and referrals efficiently Keep the reception area clean and organized Collaborate effectively within the team to meet shared goals
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred Dermatology experience is a plus Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
