  • Responsibilities of the
Front Desk Associate:
  • Greets patients as they arrive and manages 10-minute wait time.
  • Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
  • Answers phones and schedules appointments.
  • Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
  • Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, balancing daily collections, data-entry, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Works daily reports, incomplete task, No Show reports, and other designated administrative reports according to office procedures.
  • Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner.
  • Manage and sort faxes to appropriate staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Will assist primarily with high volume inbound calls.
  • Qualifications for the
Front Desk Associate:
  • + High School Diploma / GED + Medical Office experience (preferably primary care) + Call center experience or experience with high volume of calls + Experience with Medicare Advantage insurance plans + One to two years of related work experience including data entry. + Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
