The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the beauty industry. As a Salon Receptionist, you will play a vital role in managing appointments, assisting clients, and supporting the overall operations of the salon. Duties Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about services offered. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using salon software. Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and processing payments accurately. Assist with retail sales by promoting products and performing product demos to enhance customer experience. Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring that it is clean and inviting. Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and booking appointments as needed. Support stylists by stocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth salon operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns or questions promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred. Familiarity with retail math to assist in sales tracking and inventory management. Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with clients over the phone. Experience with cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively to encourage sales. A keen interest in the beauty industry and willingness to learn about salon services and products. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well as part of a team.
