JOB SUMMARY

The Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors at Central Florida Chirstian Academy. This role involves managing front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment, and providing administrative support to school personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role preferred. Experience in a school or educational environment is a plus.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and handle sensitive situations with discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Desk Management:

Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate staff members. Manage visitor check-in and ensure security protocols are followed. Handle and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.

Administrative Support:

Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying. Maintain and update school records, including student and staff contact information. Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments as needed.

Communication:

Relay important information and announcements to staff, students, and parents. Respond to inquiries via email, phone, or in-person in a timely and professional manner.

Record Keeping:

Keep track of student attendance and report any discrepancies. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

School Operations:

Assist with coordinating school events and activities. Support the administrative team with special projects and tasks as assigned.
