Check In/Out Receptionist 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 670 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431 Our thriving Interventional Pain Management and Spine practice needs an experienced Medical Receptionist who can take over the duties involved with coordinating patient care, sending medical records based on requests, sorting incoming faxes, as well as file management and office organization. We’re looking for a professional who puts the patient first. The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking, but the ideal candidate will know when to slow down and provide personalized service. The Medical Receptionist will need to meet the following credentials: Excellent Customer Service Must be professional and reliable Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must be a multi-tasker Must be a quick learner who can work independently and be a part of the team Check in experience required Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required Basic job description but are not limited to the following: Greeting patients Obtaining current insurance and identification Collecting copays and past due balance Obtain completed paperwork depending on appointment type Chart preparation and scanning old records Upload imaging to Paxera system Confirming referrals prior to appts Scheduling patients send orders for imaging, physical therapy, etc send rx to pharmacy request clearance for procedures obtain injection consents when scheduling Answer incoming calls and route appropriately Register and schedule new patients Fill out appropriate forms based on appointment type and send to the appropriate team member. End of day closing Send medical records as requested by patients, facilities, and physicians offices. Sort all incoming faxes and add records into patients chart in EMR.
