Job Description
Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the industry of customer service, located in Jupiter, Florida. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, responsible for offering administrative support across the organization. You will be handling administrative tasks, such as receiving and directing phone calls, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining customer records.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for all customers, providing a warm and welcoming environment
- Manage the switchboard, handling 1-10 lines, directing calls as necessary
- Carry out administrative duties such as writing letters, using Microsoft Office Suite
- Handle resident relations, including taking and processing maintenance requests
- Assist in the preparation of sales documentation, including assessments for the community
- Manage customer credit applications, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating records as necessary
- Deal with high-end, demanding clientele, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Carry out general office tasks as required, ensuring the efficient running of the office. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or a relevant role in customer service
- Proficiency in using switchboard phones with 1 – 10 lines
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- Ability to handle and direct incoming calls
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
- Punctuality and strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain calm
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
