Under general supervision, operate a telephone console to service incoming calls and provide general information to callers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title: Operate multi-line switchboard in order to transfer and answer incoming calls. Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner Determine intent of caller and make appropriate connection. Sort and distribute incoming mail. Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them Train new receptionist in performance of job duties Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent Ability to calculate numbers, correct entries, and post to records. Professional customer service techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Punctual with strong attendance history Must be able to work in a busy environment. Benefits for working at
