The Lois Pope Pet Clinic at Tri-County Animal Rescue is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced, mission-driven clinic. Experience with Avimark is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments efficiently Accurately enter patient information and medical history using Avimark Process payments, issue invoices, and manage daily transactions Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, policies, and follow-ups Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow Maintain a clean, organized reception area and uphold client service standards Handle sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and discretion
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a veterinary required Proficiency with Avimark veterinary software preferred but will teach Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Must be comfortable working around all types of animals Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why Join Us?
