JOIN OUR TEAM AS A RECEPTIONIST!
This role involves responsible receptionist and basic clerical work. Essential Job Functions This position is responsible for answering and directing phones and greeting walk-in clients. A positive and engaging personality is necessary for success in this position. In addition, the employee may make copies, produce files, enter data in Excel spreadsheets, schedule events using Eventbrite and Google Calendars as well as learn how to use the Volunteer Management System for volunteers. The employee should be comfortable with the Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel, have professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills, be internet savvy, punctual and dependable. Ability to draft, proofread, and process reports, spreadsheets, and forms is essential as is the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective and friendly working relationships with other county offices, community organizations, stakeholders, co-workers, and the public is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The ability to read for comprehension. Minimum Requirements
PHYSICAL SKILLS
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and also push or pull heavy objects. May use a handling device (dolly, cart, etc.) or work with another team member to lift and/or move excessively heavy objects. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from a high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Experience or related training in typing, operation of a personal computer, and Microsoft software.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
: Must be able to work a flexible schedule Mondays-Fridays between 8:00-5:00 pm.

Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
