Front Desk Associate – Pet Services The Hairy Hound 1905 North Hercules Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33763 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dog grooming salon. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations with checking in and checking out dogs in the salon. Experience in a veterinary office or grooming salon is a plus, but not mandatory. The hours are part time, 3 days a week, to be mutually agreed upon, plus three Saturdays a month. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm. Duties Greet customers warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance. Schedule appointments and manage the salon’s calendar effectively. Handle incoming calls, scheduling appointments and answering customer questions. Maintain accurate customer records Support groomers by and maintaining a clean grooming area. MUST love dogs and be comfortable with handling dogs of all sizes and breeds Skills Previous experience as a Receptionist is a must Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers Proficient in office management tasks and comfortable using various office equipment and software applications.
