Job Summary:
We are seeking a cheerful and outgoing individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist at our vibrant dance studio. As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting clients, managing studio inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for kids.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly, providing accurate and helpful information about the studio’s services, classes, schedules, and policies. Register new clients, maintain accurate client records, and process payments using the studio’s software or systems. Assist clients with class registrations, scheduling changes, and membership inquiries. Coordinate and manage the studio’s front desk operations, ensuring a clean and organized reception area. Monitor and maintain studio supplies, including merchandise, brochures, and promotional materials. Collaborate with instructors and other staff members to address client needs and resolve any issues or concerns. Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports. Support the studio’s marketing efforts by promoting classes, events, and special offers to current and prospective clients. Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service or a front desk role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry, scheduling, and basic administrative tasks. Enthusiasm for dance and familiarity with various dance styles and terminology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and positive demeanor with a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm, and occasional Saturday mornings. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
