We are a busy and growing eye care practice in Sarasota seeking a motivated and experienced Optical Assistant/Front Office Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support our Optical Director and Office Manger in day-to-day operations Responsibilities Assist patients with frame selection, fittings, and adjustments Dispense and educate on contact lens use Collaborate with Optometrists and support staff Manage inventory of frames and lenses Understand and explain insurance and optical terminology Front Office support, Receptionist, Filing, Insurance Authorizatons etc., Assisting Doctors with patient intake and charting
Qualifications:
Previous optical experience required Previous Medical Office experience (Computer skills, phone skills, etc) Friendly and professional communication skills Strong customer service mindset Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
