Salon Receptionist/Assistant Sassy Hair on Siesta Key Siesta Key, FL 34242 Job Summary As a Salon Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting the salon. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth salon operations. Looking for part time 2-3 days a week. Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday – 8:30am – closing (between 4-5pm) also covering vacations as needed. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-ins and check-outs Schedule appointments and manage the salon’s calendar efficiently Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about salon services Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure cleanliness throughout the salon Assist with retail sales of hair care products and accessories Coordinate with stylists to ensure timely service for clients Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with accuracy Experience Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions Experience supervising or managing stock inventory is a plus Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Retail sales experience is beneficial Bilingual proficiency is an advantage for serving diverse clientele
