Job Summary:
The Front Office Receptionist is generally the first point of contact for those who visit or call our Milledgeville location. The primary function is to manage front office tasks while also answering telephone calls from customers, answering questions and assisting visitors.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The primary job responsibilities for the Front Office Receptionist as are follows: Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive at the office. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access (ensure visitors are noted in logbook and issue visitor badges as required.) Direct visitors to appropriate office and personnel. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls. Receive, sort and distribute daily UPS and FED-EX packages. Greet applicants answering questions regarding open positions. Provide applications as requested. Communicate applicant appointments as needed with supervisors. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationary and material (i.e., pens, forms, and brochures). Maintain the office coffee station ensuring cleanliness and adequate supplies. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have the following qualifications: Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma. Previous experience as a receptionist in a professional organization preferred. Ability to appropriately multi-task between competing responsibilities. Professional appearance. Outstanding customer service skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
