Answers incoming calls; providing general assistance to callers, visitors and the general public.

PLEASE NOTE HOURS

: Position generally works less than 20 hours per week. Must be able to work weekdays (1pm-10pm); weekends vary at (8:00 am – 10:00 pm) and holidays. Essential Job Duties Answers incoming telephone calls; communicates with the general public, visitors and the general public; provides routine assistance; refers callers to other staff members as appropriate; forwards calls to appropriate departments; and takes messages. Receives, dates, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Prepares outgoing mail. Greets visitors and the general public; provides routine information and assistance; and directs visitors to appropriate department or staff. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Requirements of Position High school diploma or GED; supplemented five months of clerical and/or customer service experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
