KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Greets visitors and callers and handles their inquiries or refers them to the appropriate employee. + Takes and routes messages. + Performs routine typing and generates correspondence. + Opens and distributes mail; prepares and mails outgoing correspondence. + Sets up organized files for correspondence, ensuring easy retrieval. + Operates standard office equipment. + May enter data into computer database. + May operate a multi-line telephone console. + May post and maintain information in public areas. + Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ A high school diploma or equivalent.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Typing speed of 35 words per minute or higher. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • 7:45 am
  • 4:15 pm every other weekend (Sat-Sun)
  • 5:15 am
  • 1:30 pm weekdays, as needed for coverage
  • 1:15 pm
  • 9:15 pm weekdays, as needed for coverage
  • NOTE:

    Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
