Front Desk Receptionist Coastal Plains Eye Care 101 Daniel Street, Claxton, GA 30417 We are a friendly and locally owned optometry practice in Claxton, GA dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to our patients. Our team values excellent customer service, attention to detail, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personableFront Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule and confirm appointments Verify vision and medical insurance coverage Collect payments at check out Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed Perform general administrative duties to support the team As a small team, we appreciate flexibility and collaboration. In addition to front desk responsibilities, this candidate will be cross-trained in patient care and optical sales to support other areas of the practice as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail Looking forward to meeting you!
