Full Job Description Veterinary Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and other relevant details
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and exam rooms
- Process payments and handle financial transactions including End of Day counts
- Provide basic information on bathing and dog boarding services offered by the clinic
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information
- Basic knowledge of computers; previous knowledge of Cornerstone Systems is a plus, but not required
