Job Summary:

Visiting Angels Home Care is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:

Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a warm and courteous manner. Answer phone calls, screen and direct them to the appropriate person or department. Manage the front desk and ensure that it remains clean and organized.

Client and Caregiver Support:

Assist clients and caregivers in person and over the phone with inquiries and requests. Provide information about Visiting Angels’ services, including the process of receiving in-home care.

Scheduling and Appointments:

Schedule client consultations and caregiver interviews with precision and attention to detail. Coordinate and confirm appointments and meetings, ensuring the accuracy of scheduling.

Administrative Support:

Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies. Handle mail, shipments, and deliveries as needed.

Communication:

Relay messages to the appropriate team members and departments. Keep staff informed of any updates or announcements, such as meeting schedules or changes.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

Maintain confidentiality of client and staff information. Follow all privacy and data protection guidelines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus). Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is desirable. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor. Proficiency in using office equipment and computer applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

$13.00 – $15.00 per hour
