Salon Administrator / Front Desk Receptionist full-time positions available) Salon Forza, an upscale, full-service salon in downtown Andover, is looking for a part time Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! Candidate must be friendly, dependable, flexible, good with computers, able to multitask and a team player. Our salon is fast paced so candidates should be able to adapt accordingly.
Position Summary:
The Front Desk Coordinator assists management run the day-to-day business of the salon, specifically, but not limited to, guest scheduling appointments, guests checking in/out for services and/or retail sales. The Front Desk Coordinator also uses a performance-based incentive program. The Front Desk Coordinator acts as a liaison between the guest and the stylist, contributing and promoting overall salon safety and quality guest services in a harmonious and tidy work environment with a wide variety of personality types. He/she performs the daily salon operations in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by the Management.

Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities of the job may include, but are not limited to: Working afternoon shift 7:30 AM – 4:00PM Opening duties Maintaining computer data (Salon Target / Phorest) Greet and assist onsite guests; checking in, checking out, answering questions. Manage multiple telephone calls, handling messages & correspondence, schedule accurate appointments, including confirming future appointments. Coordinating Service Provider schedules, multi-tasking and keeping practitioners aware of arriving clients and on time a must. Fashion-forward, professional appearance (including hair and makeup) expected. Acknowledging / greeting clients immediately upon their arrival. Accept total responsibility for cash drawers and transaction receipts during shift by following established salon cash management procedures. Resolve any conflicts in a professional manner Qualifications and Skills Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills required. A friendly and professional demeanor is required for this position: Enjoys talking to people and excels in Customer Service Computer skills and prior experience and/or ability to learn salon software quickly a plus Easy to train; retains information; good memory; great note keeper Strives to perform the job above and beyond expectation, ability to multi-task and stay focused Strong telephone skills with a friendly, confident and informative nature Clear speaking voice with a strong command of the English language Investigative nature – loves to solve problems – troubleshooter
