Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Lewiston, Maine. This role is in the healthcare industry where you will be interacting with customers and patients, managing their accounts, and handling their inquiries.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Open to different backgrounds in customer service, hospitality and service industry
- Medical Experience background in Patient Services
- Basic or advanced knowledge of the EPIC electronic medical record system or other EMR’s is a Preferred
- Basic or advanced knowledge of medical data reporting systems
- Microsoft Excel/Word knowledge
Shifts:
Patient Access ED Nights 6:30 PM
- 7:00 AM (At 6 months will be added to rotating weekends) Patient Access ED WK 1 (10:30 AM
- 11:00 PM Sunday, 10:30 AM
- 11;00 PM Monday, & 6:30 AM
- 7:00 PM Thursday) WK2 (10:30 AM
- 11:00 PM Sunday, 6:30 AM
- 7:00 PM Thursday, and 10:30 AM
- 11:00 PM Saturday) Requirements
