Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, personable, and organized Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous veterinary or medical reception experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival Answer phone calls and schedule appointments Check-in and check-out clients efficiently Process payments and invoices Maintain accurate client and patient records Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, services, and basic pet care Support the veterinary team by ensuring smooth front-desk operations Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred (veterinary experience a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in computer use and willing to learn veterinary software, specifically Avimark Compassionate, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure Able to work full-time, including rotating Saturdays and Sundays Why Join Us?
