Receptionist Position Overview The receptionist at LIV Sober Living serves as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and external stakeholders. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of front desk activities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a compassionate understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in sober living.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist all residents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Screen client referrals and maintain client waitlist Coordinate with case management to ensure client appointments are entered onto the transportation calendar timely. Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries promptly. Assist in the check-in and check-out processes for clients, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including managing supplies and resources. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently. Provide administrative support to the management team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping. Monitor and enforce the facility’s policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment. Coordinate with other staff members to address resident needs and concerns promptly. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using office equipment, such as telephones, computers, and printers. Skilled with databases, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in sober living.

Working Conditions:

The position requires the ability to sit, stand, and move around for extended periods. The receptionist must be able to handle a busy and dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. The role may also involve interacting with residents who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges, requiring a calm and compassionate approach.
