Job Summary:
We are hiring a Front Desk Agent / Receptionist to join our team at Red Roof Inn in Moss Point. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests and a key part of delivering a high-quality hospitality experience. This position is ideal for someone with .
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure Handle all check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries with a helpful attitude Manage, modify, and cancel reservations using the property management system Resolve guest issues, complaints, or requests in a timely and professional manner Monitor lobby and public areas for cleanliness, safety, and appearance Assist with daily audit reports, billing, and end-of-day summaries as needed Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room availability and issues Maintain accurate records of guest transactions, incident reports, and other logs Stay up to date with hotel promotions, policies, and procedures Follow all Red Roof Inn safety, security, and operational protocols
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years of front desk or customer service experience required Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with computers, reservation systems, and handling cash/credit transactions Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized Friendly, professional appearance and behavior Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations Able to work independently and as part of a team Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts
