RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Summary/Objective:
The role of the Front Desk Associate is to be the first point of contact for our company. This role involves greeting visitors, answering calls, handling mail, and supporting key administrative functions.
Essential Functions:
Welcome guests, answer the main company phone line and direct inquiries professionally. Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Assist Human Resources with scheduling, onboarding new employees and associated employee paperwork. Organize calendars, office meeting spaces and assist with event planning at the HQ offices. Administratively support record-keeping, updating databases and document processing. Monitor visitor logs and ensure proper building access protocols. Demonstrate excellence in customer service by providing helpful support to employees and guests. Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Work Environment:
Work time will be indoors/office. Noise level will be low.
Physical Demands:
Lift a maximum weight of 35 lbs. and carry up to 35 lbs. on occasion. Sit approximately 7 hours per day and walk or stand the other 1 hour per day.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
General administrative or customer service experience (1-year minimum).
Special Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage professionally with employees and guests. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) High attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong time and task management skills. Ability to handle inquiries, resolve minor office issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Friendly, dependable, and able to maintain a polished and welcoming presence.
