The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient referrals, ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Duties Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and ensure timely scheduling of appointments. Utilize electronic health record systems for managing patient information. Handle medical collections and verify insurance eligibility, including Medicare coverage. Maintain accurate records of referrals, appointments, and follow-up communications. Provide administrative support within the mental health office, assisting with office management tasks as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and policies. Experience Previous experience in medical scheduling is preferred.
