Head of Schools Summary:
As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, children & staff, the receptionist is responsible for providing friendly, individualized service; ensuring a smooth operation and being focused on the goal of having all guests feel welcome when they arrive; having a warm and memorable experience at Village Baptist Church. It is preferable that church employees consistently attend worship service (virtually or physically) on a regular basis. By doing so, he/she will be more in touch with the life, activities, and patterns of Village Baptist Church .
Essential Responsibilities:
Regarding Guest Services:
act as a welcoming first point of contact, greeting guests & engaging them to determine their needs provide excellent service electronically by responding to telephone and email inquiries in a helpful, informative and constructive manner and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner assisting with parents regarding all aspects of school life, receiving and passing on information, between parents and teachers oversight and management of the
Lobby Guard System Regarding Administration:
assisting with administrative tasks as needed, taking calls and recording details of inquiries from prospective new families assisting with the updating of school information, records and databases ensuring that the reception area is kept current, organized and tidy management of the school store support the health office with data entry Regarding Safety & Transportation partner with the School Resource Officer to ensure the safety and security of the school at all times, making sure that the front door is locked and entry to the premises controlled ensure that all visitors sign in and take a visitor badge where necessary verify driver credentials and distribute appropriate keys and mileage documents track all dispatched vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance requirements Regarding Additional Duties runs errands, when needed, to pick up supplies and/or product may work special events, as needed flexible working hours excellent verbal and written skills perform any other duties assigned by the
