We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support to pet owners while facilitating the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties The Veterinary Receptionist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism. Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and pet care. Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all information is up-to-date. Assisting with the check-in and check-out process for clients and their pets. Handling payments and processing transactions accurately. Providing information on veterinary services, procedures, and products offered by the clinic. Assisting veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and care as needed. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment for clients. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Familiarity with veterinary terminology is highly desirable. Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including restraint methods for various species (e.g., dogs, cats) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
