Our primary practice areas are business law, general civil litigation, HOA law, construction and real estate law, family law, and estate planning. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant to support our team in daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and administrative skills as well as be personable and technologically savvy. This role is essential for ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent support to our staff and clients. Duties
- Handle incoming calls and client intakes, emails, mail, and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, client data entry, scanning, opening and closing files, and purging old files.
- Perform conflict checks.
- Scheduling appointments and meetings: Managing calendars.
- Occasionally prepare correspondence to clients and other attorneys.
- Visit the courthouse to deliver/ pick up documents.
- Visit the Bank.
- Welcome guests and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Order and manage office supplies. Requirements
- Proven experience in Clerical work or a similar position is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with clerical duties and office procedures is essential.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Education and Experience Minimum
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- One year of related experience is preferred but not required.
