Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Foard and Company, P.A. Charlotte, NC 28202 Foard and Company, P.A. is a local CPA firm offering tax and audit services to Charlotte and the surrounding communities for over 50 years. We are looking to hire an administrative assistant/receptionist. Job Summary As the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional environment. You’ll manage front desk operations, handle administrative tasks, and support our accounting professionals in delivering top-tier service. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a high-energy setting. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors, manage incoming calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate team members. Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain office calendars. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning and distributing documents. Perform data entry, maintain client records, and assist with document preparation for audits and tax filings. Order office supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors for office maintenance. Support administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and organizing client deliverables. Assist with event planning, including client meetings and firm-wide activities. Ensure the front office remains tidy, professional, and welcoming. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role, ideally in a professional services environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office management software (e.g., QuickBooks, CRM systems). Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of accounting or financial services is a plus but not required.
