Aquatics Front Desk Associate Classification:
Part-time, Non
- Exempt 20-25 Hours Per Week Reports to: Aquatics Director (pool front desk)
Position Summary:
The YWCA Aquatics Front Desk Associate works with children and families in a fast-paced environment and takes primary responsibility for providing excellent customer service to members and guests. The Front Desk Associate essentially serve as “the face of the organization”.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of experience in office administration and customer service is preferred. Ability to recognize and solve problems effectively Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to plan and prioritize projects Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills Strong computer skills, including
MS Office Suite Valid NC Driver’s License Essential Duties:
Provide excellent customer service Greet YWCA members and guests Answer the phone with professional etiquette Enter membership and program registrations into DAXKO system Register customers for programs Process payments with fidelity Keep updated program records and files Monitor memberships and program registrations Open and/or close the YWCA building Other duties assigned by your supervisor
Professionalism:
Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service to YWCA members and guests at all times. Project a professional image with the YWCA and community.
Team Work:
Actively participate in YWCA meetings, programs and activities when appropriate. Share the work load by helping others as needed. Give positive feedback to co-workers and resolve conflicts effectively. Share knowledge and expertise with team members.
Safety:
Be aware of, adhere to and implement all safety standards. Serve as a role model for safe behaviors. Accept responsibility for continuous improvement of a safe work environment by correcting safety problems, and reporting unsafe conditions that need correction. You must be willing to work weekday hours & occasional weekend hours: Monday-Friday

- 6:45AM-5:45PM Sunday
