Join Our Team We are seeking to add a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to our team at Paw Springs- Scott’s Hill. The Receptionist focuses on providing outstanding client care through email, phone, text, and in person interactions. Scheduling appointments, checking in/out visits, collecting payments, educating clients on hospital processes/policies, and ensuring accurate invoicing as some of the key responsibilities. They are an important member of the hospital team ensuring clients and patients experience outstanding service and care during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and interacting with clients in person, through digital communication, and over the phone. Consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences; scheduling services through appropriate triage training and hospital standards. Maintaining scheduling system and patient medical records in practice management software; managing and booking various medical services and appointments. Maintaining client communication system; reaching out to and responding to client through email, text, and phone call; sending reminders and marketing materials as needed. Collecting and processing payments using the hospital practice management software. Assisting Patient Care team to room appointments for exams, appointments, and services. Additional Details Previous experience working as a scheduler/receptionist is required; veterinary hospital experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, including attention to detail, communication, active listening, and genuine care and enthusiasm are required. Profficency with and ability to learn office and sales equipment (phones, computers, printers, point of sale, practice management software) required. Safety is critical for all team members and pets; ability to safely handle animals in various situations and environments is required.
