Receptionist/Office Assistant Community Prevention Services, Inc. Jacksonville, NC 28540 Job Summary Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm. We are a Mental Health counseling office who is seeking fulfillment of a role that will contribute to both the front and back end of our practice, to include being a highly organized and personable Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional client and staff support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, be proficient in computer literacy, and have a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients and visitors. This involves answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in all patients for office appointments, including paperwork for patients to fill out, scanning insurance cards, entering all demographic information into the electronic health record, managing billing processes, filing documents, working closely with clinicians, and ensuring the support of our practice overall. Responsibilities Answering phone calls Scheduling appointments and sending appointment reminders Check insurance benefits for new and established clients Sending and rectifying billing claims Manage intake documentation collection prior to the initial session and ensure that electronic health records are up-to-date and accurate. Assume responsibility for the upkeep of office and common areas Attend monthly team meetings and trainings, as needed. Other duties as may be assigned by the director. Qualifications •Billing experience preferred, but not required• Must be personable, approachable, and have a good attitude. Exhibit punctuality, strong organizational skills, and strong multi-tasking skills ensuring that needs are met promptly and tasks are being completed thoroughly and effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments. You must also possess the ability and willingness to work collectively with administration and staff. Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize duties effectively. Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
