Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH 03801 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional front desk support and administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a friendly demeanor, making them the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing a positive first impression of the organization. Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our systems. Assist with clerical duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents to maintain an orderly office environment. Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members as needed. Handle front desk operations including managing office supplies and maintaining office equipment. Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks as required. Support team members with various administrative tasks to enhance productivity. Qualifications Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks with attention to detail. Familiarity with phone systems and excellent communication skills. Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration are an advantage.
