Overview RiverWoods is currently seeking a Healthcare Front Desk Receptionist to work in Exeter, NH. The ideal candidate would be able to work either Saturday or Sunday from 8am to 4pm, as well as 4 days between Monday and Friday 8am to 4:30pm. The primary role of the Receptionist is to provide quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors. This person supports all aspects of the RiverWoods Community. Typical hours of operation for the desk are Monday to Friday 8-4:30, and 8-4 on weekends. Responsibilities
Provides quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors. Supports all aspects of the RiverWoods community.
Greets and directs in person or by telephone; residents, family members, physicians, vendors, staff and guests using a responsive, helpful, cooperative, friendly, polite and positive manner.
Implements the understanding of RiverWoods philosophy in responding to a resident, visitor, physician, all other providers and all RiverWoods employee comment, request for service or complaint.
Answers and transfers all calls and information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Completes administrative daily tasks, requests and or projects in a timely manner.
Prepares outgoing mailings, receives incoming mail, sorts and forwards accordingly. Assists in making arrangements for resident’s doctor’s appointments, coordinating transportation and escort services as needed. Confirms all arrangements are in place prior to appointments. Prepares paperwork to go with resident to appointments.
Mails rehab certifications to physicians offices for signatures, receives signed forms, copies, returns original to rehab, forwards copy to accounting. Maintains a tracking log for certifications
Communicates Health Care resident updates, admissions, discharges, leave of absence and room changes to pertinent personnel via E-mail.
Data entry, updating information on current forms utilized by health services. Resident lists, care conference schedules, assignment sheets, etc…
Abides by HIPPA/Confidentiality standards of Practice; releases information in accordance with established policies and procedures and Confidentiality.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years working experience in the receptionist and customer service fields
Experience working with computers, word processing and spreadsheets.
Experience in geriatric health services is preferred, but not required
