Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for animals. As a Front Desk Associate at Golden Paws, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets upon arrival in a warm and friendly manner. Answer phone calls and emails, providing information on our services and addressing client inquiries. Manage appointments and scheduling for daycare, overnight lodging, grooming, and training services. Process payments and assist with billing and invoicing. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Ensure all necessary client paperwork is completed and up to date. Handle client concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism. Provide information on additional services or products offered at Golden Paws Pet Resort & Spa. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus). Previous customer service experience, preferably in a pet-related or hospitality industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with pets, including dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Why Join Us?
