Front Desk Receptionist Ray Catena Motor Car Co. Edison, NJ Ray Catena Auto Group is a premier name in the luxury automotive industry, known for setting the gold standard in customer service, integrity, and excellence. We are now looking for a Receptionist to join our team of professionals at our Porsche showroom located in Edison, NJ. As the first point of contact in a luxury automotive dealership, the Automotive Receptionist plays a key role in creating an exceptional and lasting first impression. This position requires a polished, professional demeanor, superior communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset to uphold the high standards of the dealership’s premium brand. The ideal candidate will ensure every customer and guest feels welcomed, valued, and attended to with the highest level of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and grace, embodying the luxury brand’s values Create an inviting and upscale atmosphere at the reception area and throughout the client-facing space Promptly answer and manage multi-line phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members Accurately process basic payments for sales or vehicle deposits using the dealership’s point-of-sale system Issue receipts and ensure proper documentation is maintained for all customer transactions Coordinate guest refreshments and maintain cleanliness of lounge areas to support a luxury experience Handle client check-ins for appointments and escort them to appropriate personnel when needed Liaise with sales, service, and management teams to ensure seamless communication and follow-up Assist with administrative support, including document preparation, scanning, filing, and email correspondence Uphold the dealership’s image by maintaining a polished appearance and ensuring all touchpoints reflect a premium experience
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus Previous front desk, concierge, or high-end customer service experience required—preferably in a luxury setting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Impeccable personal presentation and a warm, professional demeanor Proficiency with computers and appointment scheduling software; experience with DMS systems is a plus Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively A service-first attitude with attention to detail and discretion
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, upscale showroom and reception environment Requires standing, greeting, and walking clients occasionally throughout the day Must maintain a high level of personal grooming and adherence to dress code standards

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour
