Job Description
Front Desk Receptionist TJ Orthopedics Brooklyn, NY 11226 We are a high-volume orthopedic practice located in Brooklyn seeking a professional, reliable, and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and enjoys providing excellent service to patients and staff alike.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments Verify insurance and collect copays at time of service Maintain organized and accurate patient records Handle patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department Support providers and office staff with daily administrative tasks Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
Prior front desk or administrative experience in a medical office (orthopedics a plus) Knowledge of insurance plans and basic verification procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong multitasking and time-management abilities Proficient in using EMR systems (experience with Medics or eCW a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
