Qualification and Competencies High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Five (5) years of relevant experience in an office environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Able to type 50 wpm minimum Strong phone skills Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance Excellent interpersonal skills Punctual with strong attendance history Extremely patient with difficult individuals and the ability to work under pressure General Description The receptionist position is a pivotal position as they are the first point of contact for any visitors coming into the main office or anyone contacting the Agency. General administrative duties and direct interaction with consumers on a daily basis. Duties and Responsibilities Answers heavy phone calls and directs phone calls and voice mails in a polite and friendly manner Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have Notifies appropriate personnel of visitor’s arrivals. Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, postage machine and a computer Tracks postage and copier usage for agency Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received Receive deliveries; sort and distributes incoming mail. Distributes and scans monthly checks to finance department Distributes office supplies as requested Completes mass mailings as needed Take inventory of office supplies and restock as needed Types and mails out Authorization for Restorative Service forms and Diagnostic updates as requested. Monthly meter readings Opens/closes kitchen and copy room daily Scheduled and manages meeting room calendars Sends out monthly birthday cards to staff Sends out Annual Holiday e-cards Schedules meetings as needed with outside vendors and/or business associates as needed. Participates as needed in special agency projects and/or events. Accepts and follows through on any other task or duty as assigned or required. Physical Demand and Working Conditions Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time. This position needs to occasionally move about inside the main office to access files, file cabinets, office machinery etc. Adheres to all Policies & Procedures and Compliance Plan.

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
